Heather Barton, Lower Elementary Lead Directress
Ms. Heather first learned about Montessori education in college, when she took a course on human growth and development. That first insight into Montessori has now led the Jacksonville native to Montessori Tides School.
She loves the holistic approach that a Montessori education has in facilitating the growth and development of the whole child. Plus, she said she loves “the awesome materials that build the connections in the brain.”
When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Heather enjoys exercise, yoga, drawing, painting, studying things that interest her, and spending time with family and friends.
