Cooking is a favorite activity among toddler’s. We find many children enjoy participating in the preparation of our muffins before snack time. They are quite capable of peeling, slicing, and mixing our ingredients. This summer, maybe you and your child can enjoy making these delicious muffins too.
I cup Milk (we have a milk allergy this year so we substitute with apple juice, pineapple juice, orange juice or water)
½ to ¼ cup honey
¼ cup of oil
2 cups flour mixed with ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup secret ingredient (bananas this time)
Mixed wet ingredients together.
Stir dry ingredient into we mixture.
Add secret ingredient (bananas).
Spoon dough into greased muffin tins.
Bake 20 minutes at 400.
