Provide For Activities That Encourage Lots of Physical Exercise
Current research suggests that there is a direct link to physical exercise and academic excellence. Some recommended activities include swimming, tennis, gymnastics/tumbling, dance and creative movement, all which help to increase vigorous activity levels.
Provide Meaningful Activity Which Gives The Child A Sense Of Importance Within The Family
The elementary child is capable of great work. They are likely to perform task joyfully when they feel they’re work is purposeful. And has meaning. Some recommended activities include, leading family meetings, creating the agenda for family meetings, building a family responsibility chart, helping plan a family fun day or family vacation, helping with a family meal plan, and taking responsibility for making family dinner.
