It’s hard to believe we are in the last few weeks of school. We are grateful to spend it in the classroom with the children this year! Lots of exciting things will happen this month. The children have had the lesson about the history of writing, and they are exploring the fundamental needs of people throughout time. They also will receive the last Great Lesson, The Story of Numbers.
We are preparing for our third-years’ bridge ceremony, where we will honor the effort they have put in and the progress they have made throughout their time in Lower Elementary. All of the Elementary students will be a part of the occasion on the last day of school. More information will be coming for the parents of our third-years.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.” – Dr. Maria Montessori
Your children challenge themselves and each other daily in the classroom. We want to acknowledge their efforts! We have watched them grow throughout the year, and, at this stage, everyone is using what they’ve learned, along with what inspires them, to do wonderful projects and to teach others. This is what we hope to see in a Montessori Elementary environment! It has been an honor to work with your children this year.
