Is it really May? Our school year is coming to an end! It has been a wonderful year full of learning and fun. During our final weeks, we will continue our studies of Australia; measurement; and land and water forms. We will begin our study of human evolution and biology, as well as the fundamental needs of humans. It has been an awesome year with such a wonderful community of children. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and gave support. We hope you all have a fun summer!
Beginning the week of April 29, the third-year students will visit the Upper Elementary classroom to help their transition. Third-year parents will receive a note the week prior to their child’s visitation. Two students will visit for a whole week at a time. Your child will report to Upper Elementary when dropped off each morning. Please use the UE drop off location next to the classroom. This is a great opportunity for your child to prepare for the Upper Elementary experience!
Kindergarteners from Primary also will visit our classroom during this time. This provides a great mentoring opportunity for first- and second-year students.
Thank you for donating shoeboxes. Next up, paper towel rolls! We need paper towel rolls for an upcoming art project.
