The children have learned about the Timeline of People and how humans’ needs have changed over the last 2.5 million years. These studies have led to the introduction of the fundamental needs of people. This work addresses both material and spiritual needs, and it provides an opportunity to take a closer look at what life was like for ancient civilizations. This month, we also will have the Fourth Great Lesson: The History of Writing.
We are looking forward to having some of the kindergartners visit for orientation this month. Our third-year students also will spend some time in Upper Elementary, too.
Gift of time
As adults, we often find ourselves wanting the child to conform to what suits the adult best. It is beneficial to remember that if a child sees us rushing about and doing things in the quickest way, they will see it only as the best way. Let’s give our children the time they need to develop an attitude of peace, patience and determination.
